Start your day by meeting your guide and accessible van at the San Juan cruise dock. From here, you will head out on a short drive to the first stop of your day, the historic Fort San Cristobal. Escorted by your tour guide, you will learn about Puerto Rico’s battles with the Spanish, English, Dutch and Americans, and the majestic military fortifications of the 16th through 20th centuries. Although the fort has steep ramps and stairs, you tour route here will follow step-free routes. The theatre and exhibition area are fully accessible and an elevator will take you to the main level of the actual fort.

After some time of exploration here, you will be picked up by your driver and accessible van and head out on a panoramic driving tour, experiencing some of the best historic landmarks of the city. From the comfort of your accessible van you will see the breathtaking El Capitolio, the famous Casa Olimpica and other popular highlights.

You will encounter a few mild hills and uneven terrain in parts of the Old Town (note most of the Old Town is not accessible and will not be visited). Be advised that while visiting the Fort, your guide will lead you using wheelchair friendly routes. The upper floor is not accessible. Note - it may occur that the elevator is out of order, in this case, another solution will be suggested.
